One week ago, O2 Germany started to distribute Froyo (Android 2.2) for the Defy. My second Defy, which I got from O2 was updated without any problem.
Today, Motorola released the update for all other phones.
The required .exe can be downloaded from here: Motorola Software Update
If you don’t want to use the Motorola Software Update, you can google the required SBF and install it via RSD-Lite:
